If you are visiting Savannah for the first or 21st time be sure to take a carriage tour. Our comfortable carriages are drawn by Belgium or French Percheron Draft Horses. Their beautiful manes are braided with red and white ribbons and roses, and a six inch plume between their ears - And their patent leather harnesses shine all the time.
Your very own carriage driver proudly dresses as a genteel southern planter, and is easy to identify, with his/her black straw brimmed hat and black vest. Each tour will provide you with 50-60 minutes of historical narration as you weave through 25-30 blocks in the heart of Savannah's historic district. You will see many old houses, churches and gardens during your tour.
